Using high-quality lacquer from the Shinkawa region, which was the largest lacquer producing area in the Hokuriku region, it became a major industry in Uozu town in the Taisho period as a sturdy and practical everyday item. This soup bowl has a beautiful vermilion interior coating, which harmonizes the warmth of the wood with the glossy texture of the lacquer.
