The image of a naive and pious rural girl before receiving divine revelation is delicately and realistically engraved. The flow and braid of the hair, the folds and texture of the clothing, and even the expression of the fingertips have been carefully recreated in every detail, giving you a sense of Chapuy's superior technique.

The smooth texture and cream color of the plaster exudes the elegance and warmth of classical sculpture.
