It wears the elegant pattern of English Fine Bone China, model number H5009, which was born in England in 1971 and discontinued in 2001. The stacked cups encapsulate the tradition of British afternoon tea.

Details

Founded in 1815, Royal Doulton is a leading brand of British ceramics and was awarded the title of Royal Warrant by King Edward VII in 1901. The cup, saucer, and plate each feature a midnight blue border with botanical patterns reminiscent of acanthus and festoons, while delicate dots and platinum silver create a unified appearance. Because it has been discontinued, the opportunity to find all three items together is becoming rarer every year.

Recommended uses

The trio, which still carries on the traditional British afternoon tea format, was originally used as a complete tea setting for one person, with tea served in a tea cup and scones or cake placed on a dessert plate. If you prepare a trio for each number of guests and serve them during afternoon tea time, you can create a special moment that goes beyond the ordinary. In addition, by simply displaying three pieces stacked on top of each other on a display shelf, they will create a presence in your interior that conveys the beauty of British ceramics.

Interior coordination proposal

[Classic style]

Spread the trio out on a white lace tablecloth, add a silver teapot and creamer, and you've got a formal afternoon tea setting reminiscent of a Victorian mansion.

[French style]

Arrange the trio on an ivory tray and add white roses and candles to create an elegant and intimate tea-time setting reminiscent of a Parisian salon in a corner of the room.

About quality and condition

As this is a reused product, there is some signs of use compared to a new product.

There may be some color unevenness due to repair marks or aging.

There may be slight scratches or scuff marks due to use, but this does not affect use.

There may be slight differences in color tone between the photo and the actual product.

[About confirmation at physical store]

You can see the actual product at our physical store in Meito Ward, Nagoya City.
