This highly artistic stoneware frying pan was created by Gold Charles, who was active from 1933 to around 1980. Its most distinctive feature is the unique glaze containing pyrite that covers the entire surface. The gradation of mustard yellow to brown and gray is interspersed with irregularly sized dark brown spots, creating an organic beauty reminiscent of space or natural scenery.
The two protruding handles are easy to grip and feature an ergonomic, functional design. The lid has a knob and the inside of the body is decorated with a spiral pattern.
