This beautiful gabbeh is carefully hand-woven by nomads in southwestern Iran, the homeland of Persian carpets, and is worthy of being called the ``rainbow of the earth.'' The striped pattern of deep red like red clay, vivid blue reminiscent of the blue sky, and warm orange like the setting sun is a direct expression of the majestic colors of nature that nomads see every day.

The biggest charm of this Gabbeh is the number of delicate motifs scattered within the regular striped structure.
