These colorful Gabbeh rugs are hand-woven by skilled craftsmen from the Shiraz region in southwestern Iran, a famous region for Persian rugs. It has a compact size of 580mm x 440mm, and features an artistic design that conveys the rich color sense of nomads to the present day, with a bright moss green border and a colorful 3 x 4 block pattern.

As you can see from the detailed weave image on the back, this gabbeh is densely woven, with a considerable number of carefully tied knots per square centimeter. This precise weaving technique brings out the delicate animal motifs within each block and provides superior durability for long-term use.

The central part consists of 12 color blocks (3 columns x 4 rows), each with a different background color. The four colors of warm orange, deep wine red, refreshing sky blue, and rich brown are arranged regularly to create a kaleidoscope-like beauty that gives a different impression depending on the viewing angle.
