This masterpiece Gabbeh, which can be called the ``Rainbow Pasture,'' is created by skilled weavers from the Shiraz region in southwestern Iran, the holy land of Persian carpets, by making full use of the rich color sense of nomads and traditional hand-weaving techniques. A colorful patchwork composition and a paradise of adorable animals are woven into the impressive size of 90cm x 57cm.

The most distinctive feature of this Gabbeh is its patchwork composition, which looks like it is studded with colorful gems. A total of 24 brightly colored square panels arranged in 6 columns x 4 rows in the center each tell a different story.
